Trading will be an important process by each franchise and will be necessary to assemble a winning team. Here are the guidelines to follow when pursuing a trade from another team.
1. You will assume the contract of a player traded for.
2. If you trade a player for player, then you assume the contract years of the player traded for, and you also lose the years from your player traded to the other team.
3. You CANNOT restructure a contract after you receive a player from another team. However, you can use your ACE to extend the contract one year.
4. You must have the cap room to accomodate a trade so it does not go over your Cap limit. Any trade in which a player's contract will put that team over their cap limit will be VETOED by the Commissioner.
