All teams will have 5 Injured Reserve slots. A player is eligible for injured reserve when he suffers a season ending injury and he is designated with an "X" by RTSports. Once a player is placed on injured reserve, his season is over. His contract year(s) will not count against the 70 year cap. His contract will then resume the following year (he will not lose a year).
It will be the responsibility of the GM to place a player eligible for the IR on the IR. Week 13 is the deadline. Any player not placed that is eligible for the IR on the IR after Week 13 loses a contract year and will remain on the active roster. Any GM that places a player on the IR after Week 13 will be fined 10 warbucks per player placed illegally.
